This episode discusses the power of the Apple Brand, and the type of relationship it has with its consumers, particularly the more devoted ones.

A very interesting example was the “Crush!” Ad which caused negative reactions… giving great insights the nature of this relationship.

This discussion shows and analyzes some Apple ads, and those from other companies, responses to them, the power of brands, and the type of relationships with consumers that brands develop.

Ads eventually might be not just great communication devices… but also components of our ‘self’ : The Consumer Self!

What’s so special about Apple’s 1984?

Why would Apple’s “Crush” Ad cause so much outrage, when similar ads by other companies didn’t do that?

The Curse of Leadership – You have less room if you’re the leader.

The “Creative Class” and their sensitivity to AI and Tech.

Our ‘Consumer Self’ is an aggregation. A plurality. A collection of qualities derived from items… Tricky!
